dude

this would be a perfect piece for like, a dwarven cave, ya know? that little funky beat. nice crunchy sound to the bass. very nicely done. love the drum track at 1:32 a lot. how'd you get your bongos to sound like bongos and not like someone banging on a pot with a stick? I've hit those walls you were talking about and they're not fun, but it happens. anyways, mind if i use this for an rpg maker game i'm working on?

Go ahead man! I'd be thrilled if you used this in a submission. Usually I'll get together a little tune then build from that. Glad you liked it.

nice

do you record your own guitar? if so, how do you get it to come through so clear? I always get that static-like sound. very nice song btw. isn't it amazing the things we come up with while eating cereal that we were supposed to stop eating once we graduated into high school? good job.

Kojacks responds:

No i dont, but I know how to make it clear like that, you have to go online and find an actual harware pickup for your computer where it has a jack plug into the back kind of like a usb port. Doing this takes away any air flow and other miediums that may interfere with the perfect sound
WARNING NOT CHEAP TO GET!

very nice

very relaxing. very calm, and the piano chords are really a nice back to the whole song. what is the other sound mixed in there? i'd like to get that sound in some of my songs. let me know. very nicely put together.

4/5
9/10

Kojacks responds:

It is a acoustic guitar with metal strings, it is tuned half a note down of the standard EADGBE tuning style. I also added a steel drum to change the tone of the guitar
Thanks for the Comment!

good

i dunno about that little pingy thing in the beginning. maybe use a softer sample? The claps and that little synth are pretty nice, just turn down the claps a little. Things seem to be a little out of sync sometimes. do you use fl? if so, use the piano roll. makes things so much easier. other than that, pretty good.

4/5, 8/10

Telliath responds:

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure which pingy thing you mean. But yes I use FLS. And I also use the piano roll. I want to use my dads midi keyboard though but he won't allow me to. Yes, I've also realised that one section is kind of out of sync. It's not really. It goes with the tempo. Just doesn't flow well with the other rythmes I'm using.

Love this track

Amazing tune to it. How do you get your guitar to sound so good? Is it real playing or just synth? Also looking to use this in my project. Lemme know.

Rig responds:

Absolutely everything was synthesized. And go ahead and use this, man! :)

really nice

Idk about the name, but I always say that the name is the most unimportant piece of the song. I really like it a lot. Mind if I use this for a game I'm doing in RPGmaker? Message me back with a response, and I'll be checking your other stuff out.

Rig responds:

Go right ahead, man! Thanks for the support :)

Good, but

If I'm not mistaken, that's an FL drum loop? Good, no doubt, but it would be more original if you put your own drum loop in. Also, there are certain parts that seem kind of empty. However, You did a pretty good job getting it into three entries. I haven't had any of my stuff used... lol keep it up.

SonicJ responds:

Yup, thats a fl drum loop. For this song, I felt rather lazy on making the right drum loop to fit in with the rest of the song, and one of the preset loops seemed to fit in rather nicely, with no modification whatsoever. And I suck with thats slicer thing :\ Thanks about the entry's, I was surpirsed about it myself! Speaking of your stuff not geting used, last night I was discussing with a friend about collaborating on making your first flash, using music from the audio portal from people we know, so they can get more recognition. Maybe you could join in too? Thanks for the review!

This track is beautiful. Really relaxing, and it kinda reminds me of the movie "The Snowman" with that song "Walking In The Air." Great job. This song has a happy and sad tone to it all at once, it's really quite beautiful. Very nicely done.

MJTTOMB responds:

It's certainly one of my favorites. be sure to check out the rest of the suite! :)

It's probably one of my more bupoar pieces in the whole happy/sad thing. but yeah, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

Nice

Nicely done. This is a great track, even though it's not really my style of music. It got me moving in my chair a little lol. It does remind me of daft punk only slightly, but this is actually a little better than their stuff. Good deal on this song man! 9/10, 5/5

JUST NOTICED IT LOOPS!

Jurian responds:

Thanks for your review.

Nicely done

Just playing some F-Zero X earlier today, and I have to say this is an excellent remake. That's not the same old crappy slayer for the guitar, and that sounds amazing. It almost sounds real, and if it is, I'm just dumb. Anyweays, amazing job!

FlameMesial responds:

Hehe, it's real alright. Never would I program guitars seriously.

Thank you very much, and forgive the late reply.

I joined Newgrounds so I could submit the music I make in FL. I am just, upon making a NG account, learning how to use FL Studio, so bear with me. The beginning works may not be good, but they will improve.
