It's not often you see people make music like this. It's usually the same four chords and some catchy pop lyrics that make it big, along with the rappers that talk about r@ping b!tch3$, etc. Yet, I'd listen to this on repeat for the rest of every second of my life before I'd enjoy the garbage that's "popular" today. Keep makin' tunes like this one. I'd pay money for this man, no joke.
If you like this i'd recommend Four Tet with the album Pause (my personal favorite) if you haven't already. (As i'm writing i noticed i already talked about this guy on a former reply. :P) Thx for the review :D
Simple guitar often sounds like the best guitar, and you have proven this concept here. There's no insane tapping, crazy guitar riffs, etc. While I will say that this is much more intricate than simple fingerpicking of chords, it's still satisfyingly beautiful. As a fellow acoustic musician, I love it. Very nice work. I think I shall start posting some guitar stuff on mine
Thank you very much. I'm happy you enjoyed it so much. Will be submitting more acoustic work soon. It's a seriously good quality guitar that makes seriously good quality noise. Thanks for your fabulous review.
Downloaded, and rightly so
Beautiful, eerie, sweet, and looming. There are so many aspects to this tune! Much enjoyed, good sir!
There are many people that write like this, and just never put it into anything but a little black book they stuff under their bed forever. I like how the music fits your topic so well. And your voice is real nice. I just wish I could hear it in better quality!
Thank you so much, I'm pretty sure I have a version without the "Vinyl Effects" I'll see what I can dig up for you:)
If the guitar in this song had been actual, it'd have been so much better. It seems like its synth. Also, when you do your guitar, don't be afraid to leave an open note here and there. Otherwise, very nicely done. I do like the chorus in the background. It definitely compliments the guitar. Good job! Rate my stuff!
I love your voice! Purely amazing, and you did the song justice! Mind if I feature this on a podcast I'm doing?
I especially liked the beginning of it. The first 4 frames. Could I use this for podcast music for the intro? i'm looking for a ton of music and you seem to have some good stuff. get back at me
Any of my newgrounds submissions may be used with me listed and credited, just as the licensing terms under the play window above says. Thanks for the exposure. And thanks for the rate and review.
Very nicely done! Ten all the way. A remix doesn't have to be totally off the wall, so much that the original tune gets lost within the song, and you fulfilled that notion with this one. Brings back some memories, that's for sure.
from the Cool Spot SNES game? If so, it freakin' rocks! It rocks either way, but it sounds really familiar...
There were alot of different ports for the game, So I guess this applies as a remix for all the games :P Thanks for the input, glad you liked it :)
I really found inspiration in this. This song reminds me of Half Life 2, how the cities are turned to shit and everything is just broken down to hell. Very nice diversity. I not once expected, or rather predicted what i'd hear next. Very nicely done. Check out some of my stuff. Not as skilled and in depth as this but hey.
